SUMMARY: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for preparing goods for inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining comprehensive records of all shipping information after confirming its accuracy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure every task is labeled with a unique job number.
- Confirm that all prior operations have been completed before dispatching items for external processing or to clients.
- Inspect the cleanliness, quantity, and overall condition of items during shipping and receiving to identify any potential issues.
- Package items according to established protocols, customer specifications, and industry standards.
- Maintain an orderly and tidy workspace.
- Ensure all shipping documentation is complete and that any necessary certifications are signed.
- Verify that all incoming and outgoing products are accompanied by the required material and process certifications.
- Prioritize tasks as directed by management, focusing on urgent orders.
- Conduct pickups and deliveries as instructed by your supervisor in a safe and efficient manner.
- Report any issues with company vehicles or equipment to your supervisor.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Adhere to the company's core values.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY ROLE: This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
- Possess the necessary knowledge and experience for the role.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures with minimal oversight.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required, along with 6 months of relevant experience or a suitable combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to comprehend and communicate basic safety and operational instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Distinguish between symptoms and root causes of issues.
- Be open to changes and improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
CERTIFICATIONS: Must be authorized to work in the United States. Eligibility for required authorizations from the U.S. Government is necessary to comply with export control regulations.
