Job Overview

PNC is seeking a highly skilled System Reliability and Support Specialist to join our Technology organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and compliance of our systems and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain systems and software to ensure stability and compliance to technology standards.
  • Perform maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades.
  • Incident detection, resolution, and/or escalation. Participation in root cause analysis and correction resulting in prevention.
  • Monitor systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and reports trends.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of supported systems and applications.
  • Perform application governance, such as required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries, and complying with technology standards.
Requirements
  • University/college degree or comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in development, L2 support, SQL server, relational database, troubleshooting, and supporting open shift applications.
  • Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
