ROLE OVERVIEW
The Junior Financial Accountant plays a crucial role in the upkeep of financial documentation by utilizing accounting methodologies and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for transaction recording, account reconciliation, account analysis, and other essential tasks to guarantee the organization generates precise and timely financial and regulatory reports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Authenticate and confirm invoices, expenditures, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank statements, and additional financial records.
- Examine discrepancies related to entries, balances, vendors, accruals, chargebacks, and similar issues.
- Supply information for the formulation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Carry out any other pertinent tasks as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Comprehensive understanding of areas such as bookkeeping, sales, business administration, finance, etc.
Equivalent to a bachelor's degree, along with 0 to 6 months of relevant experience and/or training, or a comparable mix of education and experience.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLSAptitude for reading and understanding materials such as policy manuals, safety guidelines, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedural documents; Ability to draft standard reports and correspondence.
Skill in conveying information and addressing inquiries in face-to-face and small group settings with customers, clients, the general public, and colleagues within the organization.
NUMERICAL ABILITIESAbility to calculate values and totals such as discounts, interest rates, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Proficiency in applying principles such as fractions, ratios, and proportions in real-world situations.
ANALYTICAL SKILLS
Ability to utilize logical reasoning to follow detailed written or verbal instructions. Proficiency in resolving issues involving a few known factors in routine situations.
