About the Role:

As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood donations from volunteer donors at our fixed site locations. You will work collaboratively with your team to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for donors, ensuring that every interaction is positive and respectful. Your attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures will be crucial in ensuring the quality and safety of the blood donations.

What You'll Do:

  • Connect with donors, listen to their stories, and help them understand the impact of their donation.
  • Collaborate with your team to create a friendly and welcoming environment for donors.
  • Be detail-oriented and ensure that blood donations meet regulatory requirements and can be safely transfused.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or a combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting.
  • A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
  • Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights up and down ramps and stairs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.).
  • Prior leadership experience.
