Overview:

CentraState Healthcare System, a leading non-profit healthcare delivery system in New Jersey, is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team. As a valued member of our cardiovascular interventional suite, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Our new Cardiovascular Interventional suite is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers a comprehensive range of services, including minimally invasive procedures for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular disease. As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will work collaboratively with our expert Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, and Registered Nurses to provide innovative, personalized care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and archival.
  • Ensure procedure set-up, patient prepping, and restock procedure room.
  • Set up electrical and hemodynamic transducers.
  • Calibrate, obtain, and record angiographic data.
  • Assist in arterial and venous blood sampling.
  • Work collaboratively and mentor new staff.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic, Cardiovascular, or Cardiopulmonary Technology program.
Current cardiac catheterization experience of 1-2 years required or equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
State license required
ARRT Certification required
RCIS preferred
RCVT preferred
Or eligible to be certified as RCIS or RCVT.
