The new Cardiovascular Interventional suite offers the complete integration of leading-edge imaging and technology to diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular disease and other conditions using minimally invasive alternatives to surgical procedures.
Our team consists of expert Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Electrophysiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Radiology technologists, and Registered Nurses collaborating to provide innovative personalized care to our community.
As a member of our team, you will perform a variety of services to Cath Lab patients, including technical and patient care as they relate to Invasive Cardiology.
Responsibilities:
- Operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and archival.
- Ensure procedure set-up, patient prepping, and restocks procedure room.
- Set up electrical and hemodynamic transducers.
- Calibrate, obtain, and record angiographic data.
- Assist in arterial and venous blood sampling.
- Work collaboratively and mentor new staff.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic, Cardiovascular, or Cardiopulmonary Technology program.
- Current cardiac catheterization experience of 1-2 years required or equivalent combination of relevant education or experience.
- State license required.
- ARRT Certification required.
- RCIS preferred.
- RCVT preferred.
- Or eligible to be certified as RCIS or RCVT.
