About the Position
The Department of Psychology's Center for Organizational Leadership at the University of Cincinnati invites applications to be included in the general pool of candidates from which qualified part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming academic term.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and teaching assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars, as well as serving as an academic adviser for students and evaluating student coursework.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and develop curriculum for part-time courses in Organizational Leadership, Arts and Sciences.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote academic success.
- Provide academic advising and support to students, including guidance on course selection and career development.
- Evaluate student coursework and provide timely feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental initiatives.
Requirements
- Academic degree in an appropriate discipline and prior teaching experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject.
- Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of culturally diverse backgrounds.
