Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Washington Prime Group. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and orient guests to the store, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Communicate with guests about products, answering questions and providing information in a professional manner.
  • Interpret accurate information and background to guests about products, using appropriate language skills and sales techniques.
  • Leverage product knowledge to increase sales by educating and assisting guests.
  • Acquire and maintain information about products through research and training.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the store, including light cleaning and kiosk hardware.
  • Serve as a role model and mentor to new hires.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to ensure workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests of various ages and backgrounds.
  • Strong product knowledge and ability to learn and adapt to new products.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Physical demands include standing for long periods, moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and grabbing.
