About the Role

Cordis, a pioneering medical technology company, is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team in Irvine, CA. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in the development, evaluation, and optimization of manufacturing processes and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of highly capable manufacturing processes for existing products in manufacturing.
  • Develop and qualify new tooling and equipment.
  • Verify and validate processes, machines, and equipment to meet requirements of Company procedures.
  • Troubleshoot product/process related issues and perform root cause analysis to develop and implement corrective and preventative action plans.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED and 1-2 years related work experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical field, or Associates Degree and equivalent work experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Strong organization and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Knowledge of Validation verification process, Gage R&R, and a clear understanding of FDA's QSR and GMP.
  • Proficiency in Solid works and Computer-Aided Design.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Fluent in English.

Cordis is proud to offer a competitive salary range of $43,000 - $64,000, depending on skills, education, experience, job-related knowledge, and location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
