Job Summary:
Turion Space is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and improving manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and supporting production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Develop and enforce quality control standards to ensure that products meet or exceed specifications.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to equipment, processes, and materials.
- Lead and manage manufacturing projects, including the implementation of new processes, technologies, and production lines.
- Work closely with design, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes with product designs and requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record of process optimization and quality improvement.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and equipment management.
- Experience managing manufacturing projects, including planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex manufacturing challenges and implement effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with significant experience in aerospace or high-tech industries.
- Expertise in advanced manufacturing techniques, process optimization, and technology integration.
- Relevant certifications in manufacturing or quality management (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing, PMP).
