Position Overview

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily activities to guarantee that safety, product preparation, cleanliness, and inventory management standards are upheld. This role involves scheduling and managing team members while ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols. Providing outstanding customer service is a critical aspect of this position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Guides and trains new or less experienced team members in their roles and responsibilities.
  • Comprehends and adheres to all quality benchmarks, formulas, and procedures as specified in the operational guidelines.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to grooming standards as outlined in the operational guidelines.
  • Performs light administrative tasks as assigned.
  • As required, oversees food preparation to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Coordinates and manages staff to uphold cleanliness standards as specified in the operational guidelines.
  • Leads a team of approximately 4 to 12 members. Assigns, monitors, and assesses work performance. Recommends promotions, transfers, or terminations of staff. May conduct written and verbal performance evaluations. Assists with administrative tasks and product ordering and inventory management as necessary.
  • Supports the planning of special events and promotional activities.
  • Completes required training courses as directed.
Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: Background in restaurant operations, ideally with supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff. Proficiency in computer systems is advantageous.

Physical Requirements: Must be capable of working in any area of the establishment as needed and operating a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. The position requires bending, standing, and walking throughout the workday. Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Perform additional similar, comparable, or related duties as assigned.
