Job Description

Din Tai Fung is a renowned international restaurant chain seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Director to lead our team in New York.

About the Role:

  • Manage daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Develop and implement effective staffing plans, considering labor budgets and business demands.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet brand expectations.
  • Implement procedures for accurate opening and closing routines.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting employee growth and development.
  • Serve as a role model, demonstrating professionalism and excellence in all interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including licensing and health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a manager in a full-service restaurant or education.
  • Flexible work schedule, with a minimum of 5 days per week and 10 hours per day.
  • Proficiency in using email, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform job functions with minimal supervision.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $115,000.00-$125,000.00 annually, based on factors such as prior experience, expertise, and business needs.
