Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at Florida Community Health Centers, Inc. (FCHC). As an APRN, you will play a vital role in providing primary health care to our patients through our new mobile medical unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including physical exams, patient observations, and diagnosis.
  • Order and administer diagnostic tests, as well as monitor and operate medical equipment.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, and contribute to existing plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, physicians, and community representatives.
  • Record patient medical histories and symptoms, and evaluate responses to treatments and medications.
  • Train patients and families on managing illness or injuries and disease prevention.
  • Contribute to the improvement of office functioning, and perform other related duties as required or assigned by the Medical Director.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Florida RN Licensure and board certification by either ANCC or AANP.
  • APN authorization in Florida to practice in Family Health by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
