Pediatric Mental Health Specialist

Puzzle Pieces LLC is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Mental Health Specialist to support children ages 12 and younger with a range of pediatric mental health and developmental needs. Our pediatric private practice provides neurodiversity affirming, family-centered support from a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, including mental health, speech and language pathologists, and occupational therapists.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand the mental health needs of children and their families.
  • Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy to support children reaching their goals.
  • Work closely with parents, guardians, teachers, and others involved to create a collaborative and supportive network for the child.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records using the practice's electronic health records.
  • Actively participate in weekly team meetings and internal professional development that supports the practice in better understanding the families we work with.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision in a 1:1 or small group setting.
Requirements:
  • A Doctoral or Master's degree in a mental health field, from an accredited graduate program, and a license for independent practice in Massachusetts (Licensed Psychologist, LICSW, LMHC, LMHC).
  • Passion for working with children and families, experience with neurodiverse children preferred but not required.
  • Willingness to be a true team player with our interdisciplinary team and execute strong communication skills.
