Role SummaryWe are in search of a seasoned Project Management Consultant to spearhead the logistics, procurement, and comprehensive project management for a significant factory development project in Monterrey, Mexico. This position requires a highly qualified professional with extensive PMO experience and a successful history of overseeing large-scale initiatives. You will collaborate with internal teams and manage the essential procurement, sourcing, and logistics operations critical to the successful establishment of this facility.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and oversee the PMO for the factory development, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, and quality benchmarks.
- Manage logistics and procurement processes, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to guarantee smooth operations.
- Create and sustain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk management protocols.
- Work in conjunction with the engineering team to ensure project objectives align with broader organizational goals.
- Deliver regular updates and reports to senior leadership, highlighting project advancements and potential issues.
- Maintain an onsite presence in Monterrey for a minimum of 3 days per week, with a preference for 5 days.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure all project components are synchronized and executed efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of project management experience, particularly in logistics, sourcing, and procurement.
- Proficient PMO skills with a proven record in managing large-scale projects.
- Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sectors is highly advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work onsite in Monterrey, Mexico for 3-5 days per week.
