Job Title: Senior Analyst, Payer Strategy

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Payer Strategy to join our consulting team. As a Senior Analyst, you will be an important part of our team, partnering with some of the industry's best to reach your highest goals and making a real difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and gather data from national surveys, proprietary research, client interviews, industries, markets, etc.
  • Analyze and model hospital and/or physician agreements with healthcare payers, including detailed financial impact assessments
  • Enhance existing models and capabilities built using SQL
  • Perform complex analyses on big data, including data cleaning, preparing, and interpreting
  • Build contract models
  • Analyze contracts identifying variances and pricing discrepancies
  • Review and compile financial statements for analyzing historical trends
  • Assist with report preparation documenting analyses
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with team members and client personnel
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge and passion for the healthcare industry
  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, healthcare, or related field preferred
  • Work experience and/or high-impact internships
  • Minimum three years of experience working in healthcare and with SQL
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL and the overall modeling process
  • High-quality analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment as well as fully manage your own time and the overall project timeline
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to travel, as required

The estimated base salary range for this job is $90,000 to $103,000 annually. This job is eligible to participate in ECG's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects ECG's pay-for-performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in ECG's benefit plans, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO, and other wellness programs.
