About Us

The City and County of San Francisco's Department of Public Works has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Architectural Associate I to join our team. This position plays a vital role in shaping the future of San Francisco through the development of various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of difficult and responsible architectural duties related to building sites, design, and construction projects.
  • Analyze and interpret data, sketches, and designs to provide technical assistance to architectural drafting personnel.
  • Develop finished designs for ordinary projects and portions of designs for complex projects.
  • Prepare and review contract specifications for various projects.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess a baccalaureate degree in Architecture or an architecture-related field. Additionally, you should have at least four years of progressively responsible experience in the architectural field, including architectural design, detailing, and construction administration.
