About the Role

As a Palliative Care Registered Nurse with Providence Health & Services, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and holistic care to patients and their families. You will work under the direction of the Supervisor or Clinic Manager to provide basic patient care to assigned patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide basic patient care to assigned patients, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of palliative care services.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • One year of nursing experience in a clinic or acute care setting, or completion of a residency program.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association certification.
