Position Overview:
This role presents a fulfilling opportunity to engage with our esteemed customer base. We are in search of a seasoned Senior Applications Engineer to collaborate with our existing team in Charlotte, NC. In this capacity, you will leverage your engineering expertise alongside your customer-centric approach and exceptional communication skills to design and implement material handling solutions tailored to our clients' needs. Additionally, you will conduct customer site assessments and demonstrations of our comprehensive product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers and the sales team to grasp customer requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Conduct thorough site evaluations at customer locations to assess the environment, identify risks, and propose customized solutions.
- Implement and install solutions while ensuring full product functionality.
- Prepare detailed technical reports.
- Assist design engineering in customizing product designs based on client specifications.
Qualifications:
- Education and/or training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in an applications engineering role, ideally within the AGV material handling or industrial equipment sector.
- Familiarity with AGV technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in delivering outstanding customer service.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as necessary.
