Position Overview:

We are in search of a proficient and experienced Quality Control Manager to supervise and ensure the integrity of our IT asset disposition (ITAD) processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in quality assurance, particularly within the ITAD or technology sectors.
This role is vital for upholding high standards in the processing, testing, and disposition of IT assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and meeting customer expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement quality assurance protocols and standards for ITAD processes, encompassing asset testing, refurbishment, and disposition.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and audits to verify adherence to quality standards and regulatory mandates.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement in quality control processes and initiate corrective measures.
  • Monitor and assess the quality of IT assets throughout their processing lifecycle, from intake to final disposition.
  • Ensure that all IT assets are accurately evaluated, documented, and processed in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of quality control activities, including testing outcomes and inspection reports.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the quality control team, ensuring they are well-informed about quality standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including ISO9001, ISO14001, and R2V3 standards.
  • Stay informed about relevant regulations and standards impacting ITAD quality control.
  • Prepare and present reports on quality control activities, highlighting trends, issues, and improvement initiatives.
  • Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, including customer complaints and product defects.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and engineering, to address and resolve quality-related challenges.
  • Develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing quality control processes and outcomes.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in the formulation of new procedures and best practices to elevate overall quality management.

Requirements & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity, preferably within the ITAD or technology sector.
  • A strong grasp of quality control principles, ITAD processes, and industry regulations (e.g., ISO9001, ISO14001, R2V3).
  • Proficiency in quality control methodologies and techniques, including inspection, testing, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated capability to lead and manage a team effectively, with strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to efficiently address and resolve quality issues.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
