Key Responsibilities:

- Implement control systems while ensuring their performance aligns with project specifications.
- Uphold a strict adherence to unit testing and integration testing based on functional requirements and implementation specifics.
- Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, planning meetings, and collaborative initiatives.
- Coordinate with other teams to comprehend and fulfill architectural, hardware, and platform specifications.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- PhD with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, or a BSc/MSc with at least 5 years of applicable experience.
- Expertise in C++ programming, including familiarity with C++20 standard libraries, a C++ unit testing framework (e.g., gtest), and build systems such as CMake or Bazel.
- Proficient in control system implementation, including optimal control algorithms (e.g., MPC or variations of LQR) with constraints for nonlinear, parameter-varying dynamic systems on hardware, along with designing tests and metrics for assessing control system efficacy.
- Experience in dynamic modeling, encompassing the modeling of dynamic responses of MIMO systems in state-space representation, system identification, parameter estimation, and modeling 6DOF kinematics using quaternions or rotation matrices. Knowledge of vehicle dynamics (e.g., suspension, power steering, tire models, and propulsion models) is advantageous.
