The Maintenance Engineer will be a key contributor in a high-volume, industrial manufacturing plant. You will work with troubleshooting machines, systems, and issues as they arise in the facility. In this role, you will oversee one individual at the start, but you will play a pivotal role in building out the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues, including mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Process Improvement: Develop, update, and maintain process/maintenance procedures and work instructions to enhance operations.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Oversee Continuous Improvement projects.
  • New Product Development: Assist in new product development through design, testing, and validation.
  • Project Management: Manage projects for new equipment purchases and maintenance.
  • Document Control: Utilize Document Control and ECR systems to write, review, and amend documents.
  • Quality and R&D Support: Support Quality and R&D by investigating non-conforming products and customer complaints, providing resolutions and documentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical fields, or an Associate's degree with equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Skills: Experience working hands-on with machinery and continuous production lines. Preferred experience in web handling maintenance and design. Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, project management tools, document control systems, knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks drafting software.
