Job Summary

Constellium is a global leader in the development of innovative aluminum products for various industries, including aerospace, automotive, and packaging. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance crew in our production department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the maintenance crew to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the production department.
  • Coordinate and implement maintenance activities, including safety work orders, breakdowns, PMs, and priority work orders.
  • Work closely with the production supervisor to maintain metal flow through the department and ensure compliance with safety procedures and EHS First standards.
  • Accurately document completed and uncompleted work, including craft time and notifications for follow-up work.
  • Communicate effectively with the direct supervisor and other stakeholders to resolve issues and difficulties.
  • Ensure compliance with Constellium policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as adherence to the rules governing the safe and efficient operation of the plant.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in the assigned department to improve processes and increase profitability.
Requirements
  • High school degree with technical electrical/mechanical training; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 5 years' supervisory or leadership experience in a union and manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in troubleshooting electrical or mechanical equipment, including overhead and gantry cranes with AC/DC motors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, instrumentation controls, drives, 13.8KV/480 KV power systems, and AC/DC motors.
  • Expertise with combustion systems is a plus.
Leadership Competencies and Technical Skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve both short-term and long-term problems.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Run it as your business attitude.
