Job Summary

As a Millwright - Mechanical Equipment Specialist at Constellium, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment throughout the plant. This includes working with a variety of tools and equipment, such as wrenches, hammers, pliers, and power trucks, to ensure that all machinery is in good working order.

Key Responsibilities

Completes required records, time cards, reports, and PM requisitions
Performs minor duties incidental to the primary job
Operates power trucks, man lifts, mobile equipment, and cranes
Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, charts, and sketches
Performs burning, welding, brazing, heating, and soldering as required
Plans work details, determines material and tool requirements
Repairs tools common to this classification
Uses stores catalog and/or computer to requisition materials and transport to work area
Makes inspections, repairs, and installations
Installs, tests, repairs, inspects, adjusts, and maintains hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, gas, acid, water, coolant systems, and space heating systems
Repairs, replaces, assembles, disassembles, cleans, and tests valves, piping condensers, heat exchangers, pumps, gas burners, and other mechanical mill equipment
Changes oil and greases equipment in accordance with standard instructions
Replaces and installs lubrication fittings
Operates production equipment in conjunction with required maintenance
Scrap bearing to close tolerance on equipment
Performs precision alignments on coupling gears
Keeps equipment, work area, and lunchroom in a clean and orderly condition
Performs rigging, set ups, lifts, etc.
Performs duties to maintain filtering equipment
May do fabricating work as necessary
Perform lock-out and tag-out as required
Perform miscellaneous painting in their work area
Forms, ties, and/or installs reinforcing steel
