Millwright Technician

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Constellium. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and apparatus throughout the plant.

• Install, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and apparatus, including hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, gas, acid, water, and coolant systems.
• Perform precision alignments on coupling gears and scrap bearings to close tolerance on equipment.
• Operate power trucks, man lifts, mobile equipment, and cranes in the performance of job duties.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, charts, and sketches to plan work details and determine material and tool requirements.
• Repair tools common to this classification and use stores catalog and/or computer to requisition materials and transport to work area.
• Make inspections, repairs, and installations, and perform miscellaneous painting in the work area.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, charts, and sketches.
• Ability to operate power trucks, man lifts, mobile equipment, and cranes.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

The Millwright will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous conditions. The ability to work at heights and in confined spaces is required.
