Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) Simulator Engineering (PSE) unit. This multi-site team is dedicated to the design, production, testing, and delivery of the PPTT, which supports the Next Generation Training Program (NGTP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, test, and deliver NNL internally-developed PPTT systems, including simulated sound systems, communication systems, audio/video systems, and I/O architecture.
- Integrate these systems into the innovative PPTT, which will revolutionize Navy training for years to come.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Training Program.
- Proven ability to evaluate and create electrical designs based on approved technical specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
