Main Responsibilities of a Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our IHOP team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing workstations, cooking ingredients, and kitchen equipment for cooking. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of food and exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a sanitized and well-organized kitchen environment
  • Prepare workstations for cooking and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Check the quality of ingredients and prepare cooking ingredients using various techniques
  • Cook food using various culinary techniques and arrange food for appealing presentation
  • Manage food storage, stock, and ingredient orders
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience as a cook
  • Skilled in operating kitchen equipment
  • Skilled in various cooking techniques
  • Able to multitask and act quickly
  • High school diploma or equivalent
