Business Intelligence Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. This role requires a strong background in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement data models, data governance frameworks, and interactive dashboards and visualizations to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of a centralized data warehouse architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure alignment between data models and the underlying data infrastructure.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality, consistency, and integrity.
- Implement data quality controls, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
- Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, or equivalent quantitative field.
- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries.
