About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Analytics team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, launching, and scaling self-service analytics and insights offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
  • Design and implement data visualizations and reporting tools to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and business intelligence.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics, data engineering, or a related field.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
  • Knowledge of AWS products such as Redshift and Quicksight.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
