Job Summary

Gray Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications / Network Field Engineer to join our team in support of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Interoperability Team at Redstone Arsenal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise for tactical communications equipment in support of research, development, and integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Missile Defense Agency with the deployment, testing, integration, and upgrading of the THAAD missile system equipment pieces of the Tactical Operations Station (TOS) and Launch Control System (LCS).
  • Follow detailed test procedures in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Travel to various locations specified by the Missile Defense Agency in support of THAAD operations and testing.
  • Deploy and provide support for various Tactical Communications systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and 8+ years of experience, or 14+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of Tactical Communications Systems and/or Tactical Networking.
  • The ability to support mission requirements during evenings and weekends as scheduled.
  • Ability to create and edit configurations for CISCO routers, switches, and firewalls as it pertains to current and future network infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must be physically fit with an ability to lift 25/50/80 pounds with little to no assistance.
  • Must have experience integrating and deploying LOS and SATCOM related systems in one or more of the following: SMART-T, SNAP, CPN, and JNN.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a US Passport.
Security Requirements
  • United States SECRET level security clearance.
