About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Civil Engineer to join our team in California. As a key member of our transportation engineering discipline, you will be responsible for designing and developing transportation projects that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design roadway geometric horizontal and vertical alignments
  • Prepare construction items quantity estimates and basic opinion of cost analysis
  • Contribute to the preparation of traffic engineering studies and reports
  • Project design engineer on local municipality transportation projects
  • Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of reports and project design elements including plans, specifications, and estimates
Requirements
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in California, or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications
  • Working knowledge of civil systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software (AutoCAD Civil3D, locally accepted hydrology and hydraulic programs, etc.)
