Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and provide expert technical support to enterprise-wide cyber defense specialists to resolve cyber defense incidents (20%)
  • Correlate incident data to identify specific vulnerabilities and make recommendations for expeditious remediation (20%)
  • Perform analysis of log files from various sources to identify threats to network security (20%)
  • Conduct cyber defense incident triage, determine scope, urgency, and potential impact, and make recommendations for quick remediation (10%)
  • Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting (10%)
  • Conduct forensically sound collection of images and inspect for possible remediation on enterprise systems (5%)
  • Handle real-time cyber defense incidents to support Incident Response Teams (IRTs) (5%)
  • Receive and analyze network alerts to determine causes (5%)
  • Track and document cyber defense incidents from initial detection to resolution (5%)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required

  • 3 years of experience in Malware Analysis, Digital Forensics, Data/Network Analysis, Penetration Testing, or Information Assurance
  • 3 years of Cyber Incident Handling

  • Preserving evidence integrity according to procedures or standards
  • Securing network communications

Education

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, software engineering, information systems, computer engineering, or related field

  • 6 years of experience in information security and systems analysis, and experience using HITRUST CSF or NIST Cyber Security Framework
