Position Overview:

The Cash Management Officer plays a pivotal role in promoting and delivering the bank's cash management and depository services to both existing and potential clients. This position is primarily centered around business development, focusing on acquiring new clients, conducting regular sales engagements, and identifying opportunities for growth. The officer will also provide insights into product enhancements and strive to meet deposit and fee income targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Relationship Management (75%):
- Engage in proactive sales efforts to establish and nurture cash management relationships.
- Reach out to potential clients to build referral networks while diligently tracking sales activities.
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to new and existing clients, integrating banking and cash management solutions.
- Respond to requests for proposals with comprehensive presentations, negotiating terms to maximize profitability.
- Actively pursue opportunities to increase core deposit balances through targeted outreach to current clients.

2. Client Support and Product Management (20%):
- Address the ongoing business needs of current clients, ensuring they are well-informed about cash management products and services.
- Collaborate closely with relationship managers to provide expert guidance on depository solutions.
- Participate in networking events to foster client relationships, which may require attendance outside regular hours.
- Design and implement training programs for business and retail associates to keep them updated on cash management offerings.
- Review and suggest improvements to the product line based on market trends and client feedback.

3. Compliance and Community Engagement (5%):
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Bank Secrecy Act/OFAC/CIP policies and procedures.
- Complete mandatory compliance training as dictated by laws and bank policies.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and sound decision-making capabilities with minimal supervision.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills, maintaining professionalism and tact in all interactions.
- Engage actively in local business and community initiatives to strengthen client connections.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; or five years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with treasury management services is preferred.
- Strong managerial, communication, and public relations skills are essential.

Performance Metrics:
- Growth in business deposits.
- Increase in ACH, remote deposit, online banking, and positive pay product usage.
- Contribution to enhancing fee-based income.

Work Environment:
- The role will involve typical office duties, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
