Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be a key member of the QA & Continuous Improvement team at Soap Creek Resources. This role will serve as a subject matter expert to lead the implementation of Quality processes, such as ISO-9001, which is currently being implemented. The Quality Assurance Specialist will provide technical guidance and support to Quality leadership on quality assurance-related concerns.

Responsibilities:
Identify and leverage best practices in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing-related processes.
Assist in the development of Quality process strategy and identify opportunities for improvement across the organization.
Evaluate and interpret both industry requirements and internal Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements with the goal of developing robust procedures and instructions.
Facilitate, communicate, and visualize process flows for stakeholders and teams.
Build relationships with various levels of leadership and individual contributors to influence culture by leveraging change management skills.
Implement projects using demonstrated proactive project management skills and risk mitigation techniques.
Design and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs and bring value to the organization.
Lead efforts and development with minimal oversight, set objectives and guide others on execution/approach for achievement of operational results.

Requirements:
Engineering degree required. Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering degree.
Manufacturing Engineering experience.
Expertise in ISO-9000 and internal auditing
CORE, Lean, or Six-Sigma experience a plus
25-50% travel
