Tenure Track Faculty Position, Gastroenterology

We are seeking highly qualified candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the tenure track within the Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities- Teaching responsibilities may include instructing Penn students, residents, and fellows, as well as graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
- Clinical responsibilities may include specialized care in IBD, motility/physiology, Hepatology, advanced endoscopy, and/or general gastroenterology.
- Research or scholarship responsibilities may include working on research in the field of gastroenterology, collaborating with lab members, and contributing to research projects.
- Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- Applicants must be board certified/eligible in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
- Rank will be commensurate with experience.
- A highly interactive and exciting multidisciplinary academic and clinical environment.
- Opportunities to teach the GI fellowship and internal medicine residency programs at the Perelman School of Medicine.
- Expectation of management and/or leadership responsibilities.
- Mid-career candidates with an outstanding track record in research and education.
- Excellent qualifications in research and teaching.
- Ability to secure and retain research funding.
