Key Responsibilities- Facilitate virtual training sessions focused on the safe handling and packaging of hazardous materials.
- Discuss essential topics such as personal protective equipment, emergency response procedures, and compliance with both national and international regulations.
- Support clients in adhering to various regulatory requirements across multiple programs.
- Ensure project completion aligns with intricate international regulatory standards.
- Prepare environmental reports and other technical documentation.
- Assist clients in managing hazardous waste projects at local, regional, state, federal, and international levels.
- Coordinate logistics for shipping, packaging, and transportation of hazardous waste and dangerous goods across borders.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse individuals, including executives, scientists, engineers, and business professionals.
- Strong skills in technical writing and verbal communication, with a focus on clearly conveying ideas and solutions.
- Experience in project management is essential.
- Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant full-time experience post-college.
- Willingness to travel internationally, with up to 10% of the role involving fieldwork outside the United States for periods of up to 14 days.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is mandatory.
- Availability for occasional night shifts to accommodate international training sessions.
- Experience in logistics.
- Background in audio/video production.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is preferred.
- Most tasks are performed in an office setting with minimal safety hazards. The role involves using standard office equipment, including computers and telephones.
- Domestic and international travel is required, with a focus on regions such as Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Fieldwork entails significant physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and operating machinery.
- Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and adherence to deadlines are crucial.
- Compliance with established policies, quality standards, and regular attendance is expected.
- Decision-making based on experience and knowledge is essential, along with accountability for outcomes.
