About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sourcing Manager to join our team at Uline, Inc. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize our international supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • International Supplier Management
    • Collaborate with Product Managers to manage overseas vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for Uline product lines.
    • Research and source new products from overseas manufacturers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Plan and direct overseas travel and factory visits with Product Management leadership to ensure effective supplier relationships.
    • Develop a strong understanding of overseas regulations, EPA, labor laws, and currencies to inform procurement decisions.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with internal departments, including Logistics, Purchasing, Product Management, and Distribution, to drive international operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management or International Business.
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience directly sourcing products from overseas factories.
  • Language Skills
    • 100% fluent in both English and Mandarin (both written and verbal).
  • Cultural Knowledge
    • Knowledge of Chinese and Taiwanese cultures and business practices.
  • Travel Requirements
    • Available for overseas travel 15% of the year.
