Key Responsibilities- Develop a deep understanding of each person supported, including their unique strengths, needs, goals, and desires.
- Assist individuals in articulating their needs, goals, and desires to facilitate personalized care.
- Work collaboratively as a member of a team to support individuals in developing a full community-based daytime life.
- Collaborate with Program Director, Assistant Program Directors, Shared Living Providers, and other stakeholders.
- Support and exert personal initiative to ensure that each person presents a positive image of themselves and the program.
- Assist individuals in developing long-lasting and meaningful relationships with family, friends, community members, co-workers (where applicable), and becoming active community participants.
- 2 years experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- High School Diploma
- Computer and organizational planning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the individuals supported.
