Position Overview
As a Healthcare Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for managing high volumes of communication from patients and healthcare professionals. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all inquiries are addressed efficiently while adhering to service excellence standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and other requests from patients and healthcare providers, maintaining a focus on quality service.
- Document and update patient information accurately in the relevant systems.
- Provide patients with essential information regarding medication availability, tracking, and shipping.
- Coordinate the scheduling of treatments to be delivered to patients or their healthcare providers.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in a call center environment with a solid understanding of medical terminology.
Work Environment
- Two shift options are available: 9:30 AM to 5 PM and 11:30 AM to 8 PM.
- This role is primarily desk-based, situated in a pharmacy setting, engaging with patients and providers via phone.
- Initial training will be conducted in person, followed by a transition to a hybrid work model upon meeting performance metrics.
