About the Position:

This role is a Military Technician position with the U.S. Army Reserve Command, supporting the organization's readiness program.

The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative assistance, training, medical readiness, personnel actions, financial actions, supply, or logistics.

Responsibilities include providing guidance to personnel, utilizing automation systems, and analyzing account reports to maintain inventory.

The selected candidate will also coordinate training programs, manage the travel program, and provide pay guidance to organizational personnel.

This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set.

Requirements:

  • One year of specialized experience in administrative assistance, training, medical readiness, personnel actions, financial actions, supply, or logistics.
  • Experience in coordinating logistical and training support with internal personnel and/or organizations.
  • Ability to prepare various written correspondence to be briefed to organizational personnel.

Education:

  • Master's or equivalent graduate degree in a field demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position.
  • Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.

Grade Requirement:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Additional Information:

  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • Direct deposit of pay is required.
  • Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
