Job Title: Infrastructure Architect

Murtech is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As an Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving cloud adoption and shaping the infrastructure that supports our technology and security framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead key technology infrastructure modernization program initiatives and provide direct analysis and recommendations associated with the implementation or migration of specific applications to modern cloud services.
  • Lead implementation and maintenance of cloud management solutions, including initial and ongoing configuration of related automation, notifications, and reporting capabilities.
  • Collaborate with various legacy applications and platforms along with application teams to implement or migrate associated components to cloud services.
  • Provide technical leadership in the areas of solution architecture and design in accordance with industry standard best patterns and practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in architecting, maintaining, and managing technology across various technical and business disciplines.
  • Professional level certification in cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure, is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of one or more cloud platforms, including knowledge of their services, features, pricing models, and best practices for architecting solutions on these platforms.
  • Excellent communication, contextualization, conceptualization, abstraction, modeling, patterns, and design skills.
  • Hands-on experience in all aspects of target cloud computing, including compute, CI/CD, containers, storage, platforms, data, networking, and security.
  • Experience designing highly available and fault-tolerant architectures in multi-site and multi-cloud deployments, auto-scaling, load balancing, and design disaster recovery strategies.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud infrastructure components, such as virtual machines, containers, serverless computing, object storage, and block storage.
  • Deep knowledge in solution design and strategic artifacts.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong aptitude for technology, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, coordinate work assignments with management throughout the organization, and reliably meet commitments.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager, to define and manage cloud infrastructure using code.
