Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Open Systems Technologies in New York, NY.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, NewRelic, and ELK in the cloud.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement microservices-based architecture.
  • Provision and manage cloud resources using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex infrastructure issues.
  • Develop and maintain runbooks, tools, and documentation to ensure proactive incident response.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 10 years of experience in DevOps, TechOps, or SRE with 5 years of AWS experience.
  • Strong Linux OS-level and command-line/scripting knowledge and configuration management principles.
  • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Postgres, DynamoDB.
  • Coding skills in Python, Ruby, or Java with a focus on maintainable and reusable code.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.
