A prominent nonprofit organization is in search of a Senior Accountant to work closely with the Controller, offering a clear pathway to an Accounting Manager position. Key Responsibilities
  • Generate precise financial statements and reports.
  • Perform account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Oversee the general ledger chart of accounts.
  • Assist in evaluating internal controls.
  • Record monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals.
  • Support fund-level accounting and reporting.
  • Review and manage expense report processing.
  • Facilitate the audit process.
  • Establish and uphold reporting procedures and controls.
  • Assist with tax filings and corporate reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Controller on various initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and financial operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in lease accounting.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Excel.
  • Experience with consolidations or joint ventures is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated integrity and reliability.
