Key responsibilities include welcoming patients, accurately inputting data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, maintaining patient files, verifying insurance information, scheduling appointments, and managing phone inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly, creating a professional and welcoming environment to enhance their comfort and satisfaction.
- Address patient inquiries and issues promptly, providing effective solutions and assistance as needed.
- Perform data entry tasks with precision within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
- Update and maintain medical records with great attention to detail, adhering to privacy regulations and ensuring patient confidentiality.
- Conduct insurance verification processes as necessary, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Manage incoming phone calls efficiently and courteously, providing relevant information and directing calls appropriately.
- Register patients for appointments and adjust schedules as directed by supervisors or relevant personnel.
- Demonstrate effective multitasking abilities, transitioning smoothly between various responsibilities as required by workflow.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and healthcare professionals to ensure the efficient operation of patient registration processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a healthcare environment, particularly in Patient Registration.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and data entry procedures.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities, facilitating compassionate interactions with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry and record management.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and responsibility.
- Proficient multitasking skills, capable of adapting to changing priorities and managing time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes is a plus.
Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Employees have the flexibility to select coverage that meets their individual needs.
