Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Electrician/Facility Service Specialist to join our team at HireTalent - Diversity Staffing & Recruiting Firm. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment.
  • Coordinate and perform general maintenance activities, including construction, carpentry, painting, and repairs.
  • Install new lights, light fixtures, and ballasts, and repair or replace defective existing electrical switches and outlets.
  • Manage multiple priorities and set appropriate tracking systems to monitor projects and work.
  • Collaborate with contract personnel to supervise projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain logs and inventories of maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Respond to emergency calls 24/7 for extended periods.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
  • Certified Electrical Certificate.
  • Proficient with NFPA 70 regulations.
  • Ability to read circuit schematics and diagrams.
  • Knowledge of commercial roof top HVAC systems, including single and three-phase motors, compressors, capacitors, and refrigerant.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stoop, crawl, work on rooftops, and work in outside conditions.
  • Knowledge of Building Automation System (BAS) covering HVAC, lighting scheduling systems, and monitoring and maintaining weekly HVAC and lighting schedules.

Physical Requirements:

The ideal candidate must be physically able to move or lift large objects (75 lbs.) on a regular basis and meet the employer's attendance policy.
