About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality preventive maintenance inspections on all fleet vehicles, including tractors, trailers, and light-duty vehicles.
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Work closely with fleet technicians and supervisors to ensure all maintenance is completed to manufacturer specifications.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of vehicle systems and components.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training preferred.
  • Current and valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
  • Basic knowledge and skill of all vehicle systems and components.
  • Basic knowledge and skill in diagnosis and repair of electrical systems on all equipment.
