About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and equipment.
  • Work with the fleet management team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in heavy duty truck repair preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair; experience with diesel engines and heavy duty trucks a plus.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills; ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
