Job Title: Automotive Line Technician

Are you a skilled mechanic looking for a challenging and rewarding career? We have an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Line Technician to join our team at Kendall Toyota of Eugene.

About the Role:
  • As an Automotive Line Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, including Toyota models.
  • You will work closely with our experienced service advisors and technicians to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction.
  • Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a dealership or large independent shop, with ASE certifications preferred.
  • You will be required to operate a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions, and will need to have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle problems, using independent judgment to make decisions and document all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies.
  • Perform adjustments and calibrations, replenish fluids, disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, and repair or replace parts as needed.
  • Use a variety of tools, including mechanic's hand and power tools, to complete job duties.
  • Work in a fast-paced shop environment, standing and walking for extended periods to complete job duties.
