About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Honda Technician to join our team at Kendall Automotive Group. As a Honda Line Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of Honda vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose vehicle issues using independent judgment and manufacturer guidelines
  • Perform adjustments and calibrations, replenish fluids, disassemble and reassemble vehicle components, and repair or replace parts
  • Document all work and hours per manufacturer and Kendall policies
  • Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work and issues resolution
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years previous mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop or automotive school experience
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles, both automatic and manual transmissions
  • Valid driver license and good driving record required
Work Environment

Work is performed indoors in a shop environment, with tool usage including mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force. Standing and walking will be required for entire work shift to complete job duties. Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on. Lifting as well as pushing and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds will be required occasionally.
