About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team at Bob Ruth Ford, Inc. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for presenting new and pre-owned vehicles to prospective customers, developing a rapport, and determining needs and preferences to provide personalized solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present new and pre-owned vehicles to prospective customers, providing test drives, qualifying buyers, and developing quotes.
  • Overcome objections and use negotiation skills to close sales and satisfy customers.
  • Attend sales training, read professional publications, and make recommendations to the Sales Manager relative to sales opportunities.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License.
  • State Board of Vehicle Manufacturers, Dealers, and Salespersons Licensure to sell automobiles.
  • One or more years of prior sales experience.
  • Completion of Ford Sales Training within 90 days of hire and continuing education as required to maintain certification.
  • A basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, computer software, and internet-based automotive classifieds and consumer marketing websites.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communications ability, including demonstrated negotiation and presentation skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, "bell-to-bell" hours, and/or Saturdays.
